The White Ship is a short story published by H.P. Lovecraft in 1927. It is perhaps my favourite story among his substantial body of fantastical work  : not directly associated with the Cthulu mythology, the White ship becomes a parallel lore of its own, unique and mystical. It is an allegory for humanity's unquenchable curiosity, unbridled pride, and chasing impossible dreams.   . It is a bit of a departure from creating podcasts out of my own content, but it's now been quite a while since I've recorded anything, and I've always wanted to narrate a gothic bedside story, so here it is ! I hope you will enjoy it, and that it will open up H.P. Lovecraft's imaginary worlds to you.  ——————————————————————————— Sound bites from Placidplace, Palle 1958, Artslop Flodur, 33nano, LesFM, Magnetic Trailer, Geoff Harvey and Litesaturation @ Pixabay Music
